It would be difficult to trust the big cats wild side will stay content forever. However, at least in the video, he seems to have trusted and bonded exceptionally well with them, and is also well socialized. Most peoples house cats don't behave that well.

30+ years ago, there was a guy in town who had a pet cougar. He used to drive around with an open topped Jeep with the cat in the passenger seat.

I always thought it was really cool and I remember wanting one back then.

Then...I saw what a cougar can do to a person. I changed my mind.

I'm not saying wild animals can't be domesticated, but we're a few thousand years away from that evolutionary change.
