Holocaust didn't happen, earth is flat, lunar landing was staged. This is why Nigerian lottery and inheritance scams are successful.

Tough to have a relationship with a person you dont respect.

Just my opinion, it's only her glaring gap of history, right? Just on that basis, I wouldn't consider re-evaluating our relationship. You just need to be sensitive to other cues instead.

Watch this video for a good lesson on when to draw the line:

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

I'd ditch this person.

My great uncle Bill was a GI in WWII. He got to one of the camps at the end of the war and he never was able to talk much about it. But you don't need to talk to Uncle Bill to know that Holocaust deniers are as wrong-headed as they can be.

A good friend of mine, and a former member here, lost most of his grandparents in the camps. He only exists because one set of forebears escaped Europe.

Same here. I toured Dachau. It was an unforgettable - as in horrific - experience.

Definitely ditch this person if you can. Life is too short to waste having to deal with such toxic stupidity.

The Germans kept meticulous records of their atrocities . You can watch the videos of the Nuremburg trials and see some of the hardliners admit what they did . " Just following orders " and all of that bullshit .

I am currently re-evaluting our relationship. I don't know if I can associate with someone so stupid.

I toured Dachau when I was 15 or 16. I didn't know much about WWII at that time. Dachau was mind boggling.

You need to choose your friends better.

I've had people argue with me that my grandfather lied to me that he saw camps when he was in Europe in 1945. There is nothing that will convince people otherwise who want to believe what they believe.

I worked with a guy that was a denier and didn't like Jews in general . One day at lunch the subject came up , not sure how . He made the statement " They claim that 6 million Jews were murdered . They didn't even have 6 million Jews in Germany . " This guy is fairly intelligent and the level of ignorance in that statement is beyond comprehension . I took my lunch out to the truck to get away from that idiot .

Just a general comment - I am surprised at the number of people, including those of Jewish faith / heritage, who either deny or don't know that there were 5+ million others who died in the camps. And the same thing regarding Stalin's genocide of millions in the USSR before and after WW2.

The Nazis exterminated over 35 million people. 1/2 of all killed in the war the world over.

They documented it themselves, and the U.S. Army seized those documents in 1945.

The level of evil touched everyone alive in the entire world.

Anyone that does not "sense" that in their soul, has a dead soul.

We Jews are not the "champions" of WWII victims, we are their voice, being the largest number murdered for being who we are.

That gives us great responsibility to be the largest group to speak against that which creates the enviornment for such a thing to take root, grow and become an evil insidious thing, again.

And that hatred knows no bounds, every human has the capacity to lead such a hateful conquest.

So every one of us must fight against it.

The train tracks running right in the front gate at Birkenau, acres and acres of barracks, and the blown up gas chambers and crematoriums. Barracks 11 at Auschwitz main where they'd cram several people at a time into "standing cells" where there was no room to even sit down and leave them in there to suffocate. It was appalling, and I had nightmares for months.

At the time I was mad that they made me go. It literally terrified me. In hindsight I'm grateful that they took me there so I could see it for myself. That way if anybody ever tries to tell me that it didn't happen I can tell them to shove it right up their ass.

I never went to the camps but I remember in history class in school watching the movies of this and thinking the same thing: "Why am I being subjected to this horribleness?" I'm glad now that I was and worry that it's not happening in schools today.

In at least one of the camps liberated by the US, there were some guards left who hadn't had time to finish razing the camp to cover their asses and escape in time. We shot a number of them.

I think the thing that really affected me was just he hopelessness of it all. Millions of people lining up and marching off to their deaths. Or like Anne Frank, who spent month s hiding in the attic only to get caught and shipped off to the camp to die.

I remember one photo vividly from Auschwitz of a couple of little boys skipping down the lane from the rail yard to the gas chamber. They had no idea what was coming and were likely just happy to be out of the boxcar. As a kid I just remember being appalled by the fact that their parents were utterly powerless to protect them from the institutionalized evil that was about to end them.

It's a big part of the reason I grew up to be a gun owner. I'd rather go down fighting against overwhelming odds than ever let somebody ship me or my family off to a camp..
