I mowed the almost two acres of grass surrounding the cabin today.
It had been 21 days since the last mowing, quite a chore at almost a foot tall.

For the first image, this particular camera at early to mid morning typically takes terrible pictures from that bright patch of sunlight in the center of the image.
The camera is in a shaded location and the bright patch of sunlight causes an incorrect exposure. Still, easily identified as a nice buck.

Several of the neighborhood women came and visited with the better half and they watched a Mets baseball game.
That gave me some time out in the shop for doing Kubota tractor maintenance this afternoon.
The loader/backhoe machine is all caught up and didn't need anything done.
I worked on the mower machine today.
It's all freshened up and good for another 100 hours of operation.
I had purchased the needed parts & fluids back in early April, and just haven't been able to devote a half day doing tractor maintenance.

My adjoining neighbor at the recreational property is also a hunter.
We are both realists, and understand that the deer and bear and all the other critters travel across our respective property boundaries virtually every single day.
So we share some trail camera pictures.

That big boy several posts up above this one, my neighbor got a trail camera picture in his woods one day earlier than my above picture, it appears to be the same buck.
We hope he hangs around.

Just wanted to say that I appreciate your posting the pictures.

It is my pleasure to provide a small piece of the great outdoors to folks that might not see it in their daily lives.

This buck seems to like his picture taken.
I do hope he lives long enough for some genetic transfer.
