Irrigation is all we have here for growing non-native stuff, which is why I limited our grass to a 1,000 sq. ft. circle. Not wanting a bunch of area sprinklers, I installed an impact sprinkler where I wanted the center to be, and turned it on to see the extent of its watering. Stepped in two feet from that and used an 18' string to walk out our 36' circle for grass, mainly for the animals to lounge in. There are also a couple of planted trees, one in the circle and one just outside, to provide shade. The trees are irrigated on a separate valve and different schedule. When in doubt, mumble | |||
