Here I am, complaining again. But only this forum is available. I buy AirPods as a gift. The good ones, with noise cancellation and silicone ear canal fitments. Now, I can be in the same room as my wife, speak to her, and she ignores me. She cannot live without a daily dose of Dana, Jesse, Greg, Jeanine, and a sacrificial liberal. So, from 1700-1800 conversations are not permitted. I have no idea she is listening and talk for several minutes without a response. Then I see the time, and figure it out. No conversation until The Five is over. Got it. I am just not worth it. I am ready for marriage counseling again. “I feel ignored when you…” ------- Trying to simplify my life... | ||

No worries! That's an hour you can spend on your own pursuits, and know that you're not going to be interrupted either. Clean a pistol, dink around in the garage, ogle new motorcycles online, or just have a nice beverage on the porch. That hour is your time, sir. We got my youngest noise canceling headphones for his birthday a week ago. Now all three of my kids have them. I came home a few days ago and my wife started complaining about the kids not listening to her, so I put my noise canceling headphones on and said, "What?”. I took them off immediately, and we laughed. | |||
