Got called a senior citizen for the first time.
I went to Chik-fil-A a while back for coffee.

The "kid" behind the counter asked if I got the senior citizen discount. I asked, "How old do I have to be to get that?

Kid asked, "how old are you?"

I asked, "how old do you think I am?"

Kid grinned and said, "Old enough."

Yep. I got a discount on my coffee that day. Big Grin

God bless America.

Anyone else have this problem, asking which discount is better Senior or Veterans?

I think you should be able to double dip on this one. Smile

At 66, I wear it like a badge of honor.

It's great to have grown into Grumpy Old Man.

I'm going to look into this. Indoor range is 15 minutes away, my gun club is an hour drive.
I need some handgun time, have four I haven't fired yet.

Kids are grown and gone, all well adjusted. Ex wife is gone, not pissing away money.
I'm not grumpy anymore! Big Grin

I don't have a problem (any more) with seeking out or asking for senior discounts, or getting one without asking.

I'm 65, my wife is 64. My grandkiddos get a huge kick out of calling us "Boomers". Roll Eyes

The clerk asked me for my ID. I said "Thanks. You made my day."

She said, "You look plenty old, but we have to ask everyone." I said "You just ruined my day." Wink

I just turned 73 but my doctor told me I look 10 years younger than my age but that still makes me old. It is what it is. Smile

I learned this from a friend of a friend.
If asked how old I am, I respond:

"Aye, matey! I'm a pirate!"

Say it slowly.

I am 69 years old. I adhere to these words of wisdom.

You don't become cooler with age, but you could care less about being cool, which is the only true way of being cool. This is called the Geezer's Paradox.

Let me help you out. Which way did you come in?
