I'm only 64, a little overweight, haven't aged terribly like a meth head, still have hair.
I guess to a kid in his twenties I'm ancient. How depressing!

It is a shame that youthful looks are wasted on young people. And that youthful bodies are wasted on young people.... drill sgt.

I was gonna mention that Beatles song, but I won't. It started when I was being called sir by the cashiers, then asking if I want a senior discount on stuff. Sixty four isn't old, it's a classic lifestyle Big Grin

I was told by a physical therapist "never refer to yourself as old. Old means terminal. Refer to yourself as aging. Aging is a process." Something to do with medical charting I think. I have been calling myself old for years.

I live with my grandkids and when they referred to me as being older than dirt I asked them if that was new dirt or old dirt. They looked confused and I laughed and laughed!

I had my patience tested... I'm negative.

Just turned 55, I was looking forward to all my senior discounts. I was and am pissed that they have moved the bar to 65 for the most part

Enjoy your "age". I had someone tell me long ago to not complain about getting old. Some folks don't get that opportunity.

Heard a comical saying from a friend who said:

"I was thinking about asking for my Senior discount, then dreaded I might be carded"?

"Then suddenly realized it would be worse if I wasn't". Eek

I'm not really depressed, more amused. He didn't say it to my face, I guess his manager.
That Beatles song has been in my head a few times. The saying I've known is "You don't stop playing because you grow old, You grow old because you stop playing"
