Pyker:

How is a child who is fussy and bored and acting out as per their age “worshipping” here?

They aren’t. All they’re doing is preventing others from hearing the message from the pastor.

That’s just lazy pyker and you know it. A simple google search or opening up a Bible with margin notes would suffice. Nope, you are going to stick with something you think you were taught in your youth. Then you try to twist this conversation into some kind of racist parallel, “separate but equal”? Seriously, that is a stupid fucking argument.

Rosa Parks you aren’t.

HAHA! Truth. I'd also point out that this thread is LITERALLY posted in the "What's Your Deal" (aka - Pitch Yer Bitch) section. Which is exactly what PASig did......

The hazards thread. That was a surprisingly contentious debate. Who knew?

Honestly, this one too. I pretty much thought most people agreed that kids should be quiet-ish in restaurants, churches, etc. Screaming kids, I thought, was a universal hot button for most people. Not perfect behavior but at least striving for that direction. Once again, who knew.

I also look at it from the perspective that many of us here are older, we were raised differently. Our children were raised differently. Modern day parenting is very different.

Discussions like these are why I choose to worship in my own way, out in gods creation. Stained glass doesn't have a damn thing on nature.

You are the one insinuating racism here, not I. I merely suggested that placing individuals one found to be annoying into a separate room so others might not be inconvenienced, providing they were not ignored is a hypocritical solution. It is a simple example of how people will justify reprehensible decisions to themselves.

I have no need to find a Bible, or a site using Google, to support another's subjective interpretation of an untenable position.

Agree.

The more “religion” people get, the more sanctimonious they become.

I steer clear of church and the people it can create to the contrary of Gods love.

Case in point directly above.

Job 12:7-10
“But now ask the beasts, and let them teach you; And the birds of the heavens, and let them tell you. Or speak to the earth, and let it teach you; And let the fish of the sea declare to you. Who among all these does not know That the hand of the LORD has done this, In whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind?
