Just a minor gripe. Please, when you offer a karma and pick winner(s), update the thread title to indicate that winners have been chosen. I generally do not go back into karma threads once I have entered to "check if winners have been chosen". If the title has not been updated, I assume the karma is still open and running. | ||

one of the things I do when I check SigForum is to do an advance search on my name in case someone wants to tell me something in response to a post. I've been updating the thread title since I started. I normally also send out an email if one is provided. Haven't missed a winner so far. Even so I've had a couple instances of people entering a contest after it's been closed in the title. I suppose I could request a thread-locker, but if you're not even going to work that hard.... | |||

I'll go along with petty. But it just seems simple courtesy if you are going to offer a karma, you provide some easy way for the winners to know they have won. Having to keep checking the thread is a non-winner. | |||

Works both ways. I can't tell you how many Karma's I've sent out and I hear nothing from the recipient. I have to ask if they received it okay. | |||
