That's a great example. I know plenty of educated people who say warsh, warshing machine, and Warshington. I have know idea where the 'r' came from.

I’ve had more than one coworker who pronounced the word “desk” such that it sounds more like “dest” or “desked.” I’ve always assumed it was just some minor, personal speech impediment.
Perhaps already mentioned here, a common one I notice is “supposofly” in place of either “supposedly” or perhaps “supposably” (with apologies to Joey from “Friends.”)
