All I want to do is have one username password for both home and mobile. That's all.

Literally, clock time, it is three hours online and this is still impossible.

Before this ongoing debacle, I went to see an acquaintance at T-Mobile, who has been there 22 years. He showed me their plan for seniors, as well as home 5G internet. Comparing costs, to my 16 year Verizon relationship, not quite as cheap.

But, this Verizon online and in store customer interaction has flummoxed me for 16 long years.

Is T-Mobile customer service, meaning online utility, chat, and website acceptable to the SF cognoscenti? Even if more expensive, it might be worth it.

Consider Consumer Cellular. Their representatives are US based, “English as a first language” people and they have provided exemplary service to me every time I needed assistance.

Not interested in any other mobile provider, other than T-Mobile or Verizon. The issue is not offshore non-English speakers at all. The Verizon issue is simply that they cannot do simple tasks online or by app. And definitely not in the store. I have been paying for services I don't need, for the past two years also.

On the few occasions I have dealt with T-mobile Customer Service and Tech Support I have been very happy.
Hello, this is xxxx, your customer care team in Oklahoma City. COSTCO and SAM'S have in store T-Mobile kiosks.

Plan upgrades, phone swaps, questions, no problem.

I'll likely be switching to T-Mobile from ATT. I've also had/have verizon at various times. The secret of T-mobile is they're Deutsche Telekom, AND the only carrier you can get starlink text messaging on.

I switched to T-Mobile from AT&T. And, you're correct about Starlink! I got selected for the Beta when it first started. Rolled out to the hinterlands of Arkansas (anywhere 10 miles from a highway ) and sent out text messages via satellite. Now both my wife and I have it included in our plan. I also have T-Mdobile Home Internet...another WIN.

Understood.
I only suggested Consumer Cellular because I don’t have to fuck around with a poorly designed website, app, or dysfunctional jackass in a store. I call and talk to a human who speaks English and they take care of whatever issue I have. Right away.

Having had experience with Verizon, AT&T, and Straight Talk, I’ve had a belly full of shitty cell carriers.

I had to call Amazon once, took FOREVER to get to a live person.

I went to T-Mobile years ago, a few stores around. I get Netflix included, plus free WiFi on most planes.

T-Mobile is in the process of trying to push all customer interactions to go thru their app. Alot of people are apparently not happy about it.

4MUL8R, I can only speak based on my experience. T-Mobile has been fantastic. I always get a customer service rep. that is based in the US. It's a night and day difference between T-Mobile and AT&T. I've also called their customer service several times and never had to wait more than a few minutes or so.

In this case, apparently not.
That effort was worth about 5 minutes before moving on. Razz
