So frustrating! Wife got 3 nails in a tire 2 weeks ago. Got a new tire. Driving home from Philly late Wednesday night got a flat tire. Thankfully not the same tire. Figured I would stick both new tires on the rear. So I need to reprogram the TPMS to know which wheel is where. I don’t have a scanner that puts it into relearn mode but I have the programming tool that you have to manually put it into relearn mode by pushing the brake then cycling the ignition and pressing the brake. I have tried multiple times with no luck. Frustrating! Can’t figure it out. Using the procedure in the videos and the service manual. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. On my truck, the procedure after rotating tires is turn the ignition on, press the hazard lights button three times, let pressure out of each tire in the correct sequence, and the vehicle beeps at you. On my truck, the procedure that uses the brake pedal is for learning completely new tpms sensors, not for which tire is installed where.

Usually will relearn after 10 min of driving. Another way for Ford vehicles is key on then turn on / turn off the hazard warning lights 3 times. Horn should sound that TPMS learning mode is active. Correct procedure for brake pedal is key off, key on, press brake, key on/key off 3 times, key on.

Those with automatic relearn is there any indication that it has relearned? I guess I can go let some air out and see if it is correct. Coming from a 2015 Suburban and Expedition they did not automatically relearn. I had to enter programming mode and run my tool to each TPMS sensor starting at the front driver and going around clock wise. Which was my understanding what I need to do with this because the service manual says TPMS Sensor Location Calibration. Not learning new sensors. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. I will be your brother, and I'll hold your hand. Change pressure on 1 tire & test would be my best guess to confirm. I just topped up mine at Costco & it took about 100yds for it to update pressures. The Enemy's gate is down.

I've had to disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, and that has worked for me.
