Mother fucker on I-75 who cut 5 lanes of highway traffic, because your dumb ass either wasn’t paying attention to your exit or because you don’t care, FUCK YOU!

I had just on the highway from a service road, slowed to merge, and was doing 60 MPH in a 70 MPH posted highway. This guy in a white truck, cuts over from the fast lane, 5 lanes of traffic, and as he gets into my lane (2nd from slow lane) brakes to a stop! I was in a relatively light weight car with Brembos and stopped from ramming him with an inch. We’re stopped on the highway 100%. He’s half in my lane, half in the next lane. I’ve got cars going by me at 70 mph. I saw a vehicle coming straight at me from the rear and thank God they weren’t on their phone surfing as they dodge me last minute. This fuckhead finally moves into the next lane and I floor it from the stop until 7k redline. 1st through 3rd gear. I see going up the exit ramp (to an overpass) and I thought I was going to break either the steering wheel or the horn itself as I was laying on that horn like never before. Simultaneously lowered the passenger window and did my best middle finger.

For an hour after that my hands were trembling. Oh and I got the wonderful odor of the Brembo brake pads all throughout the car. But I happily smelled that up because if I was in my truck it wouldn’t have been a totaled vehicle and would have either been in the hospital or the morgue.

All these ass holes have moved to DFW, almost 2 million of them at this point since 2010, that driving anywhere, anytime of day, is dangerous. Entitlement driving everywhere all day everyday. Driving North or South on 75 in Plano is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Mad
Load up your shit and go back to Kalifornia, New York or wherever you came from!

God hear my prayers, and help me make the money I need to build my Morton on my land out of state so I can move, get out of here, and never return.

Well if ever traveling in Michigan a couple of suggestions. M-10 aka John C.Lodge Expressway in Detroit, heading north out of the city. Once you get north of Mc Nichols Rd. Get into the far left lane. Speed limit is 55 posted, forget it and drive with the flow. Because once you get to the Seven Mile Rd. exit (one mile from Mc Nichols) I can guarantee you that someone will decide they want that exit and cut across all lanes of the Lodge at the last minute to make it. Last time I was there we were in a dually crew cab and we just missed having a Lincoln as a hood ornament.

And Back to I-75, same when going north through the city of Flint, take the far left lane, no exits off there so no chance of being cut off by a last minute dive. Last time on the scooter through there I was doing 90 in that lane, better than getting cut off at the last nonosecond.

I've been in Texas since Saturday and feel your pain. I wondered why so many people tailgate and figured it's to keep others from cutting in or across.

They’ve long been bedded in. This asshole just decided to cut 5 lanes of traffic at once to make an exit he had no business trying to. It was insane. Stopping on a highway as you try to make your way over to exit immediately from the fast lane? Roll Eyes

It’s bad now, horrible. Just too many people migrated here, much too quickly. And they don’t melt in with local ways. They bring their ass hole behavior from wherever the fuck they came from. Driving here is really dangerous now, in the major metros anyway. Country/rural, you’re still G2G.

If only cops would do something. If we sent in dash cam footage and they acted upon it.

Good news is that at least the fucker is no longer here. Smile

Don't forget the millions and millions of criminal invaders who've moved here across our porous borders. IME in Houston, wild lane changes in a POS white truck the driver tends to be Hispanic but of course it's an assumption as to whether citizen or criminal invader.

One nice thing about the out of state citizens who move to Texas is the supermajority have auto insurance. On the other hand, very few criminal invaders have auto insurance and my uninsured motorist coverage has skyrocketed.

Same story in Salt Lake City. 25 years ago the traffic was polite and calm. If you signaled a lane change on the freeway, people would make room for you. Now they speed up to crowd you out.

Definitely a big dose of California transplant drivers here. One of the radio stations is even using "The" in front of road numbers! e.g. "The 221" instead of "221".

The speed and aggression are way up there now. It is more than just an increase in population, it is a change in psychology.

I've told my wife, if you see a sketchy/crappy looking car on paper tags, steer well clear, odds are they're counterfeit tags & the car is uninsured.
Actually, most cars on paper tags that don't look freshly bought [clean/detailed] I give a wide berth.

Bad news, you are also in the twilight zone or some alternate dimension. Though this story synced up perfectly with Atlanta driving as well!

I get it, US-75 certainly FEELS like an interstate based on my 6 years living in McKinney.

Take where you live, and add 2 million people, and see how you feel about it. How you feel about where you live once they all move in and jam up all your roads and highways. How they drive the cost up on everything from utilities, goods and services (especially contractors for the house), and property tax. Locals get zero for all these fuckers coming here. The only thing you get is if you sell your house and move out of state.

First and foremost I am glad you are okay and not injured, I understand how pissed and frustrated you are.

Not much different here in central Florida. What you described is an almost daily occurrence here in central Florida especially around the attractions.

I call it the "I will make the right hand exit from the fart left lane." cutting across three lanes of traffic to get to it.
Or the "Gee that's the exit I want so will almost come to a stop in the middle lane while I try to get through to the right hand exit."

I liken it driving inside a pinball machine while someone is playing the game with more than one pinball.

Another fun one is when all of a sudden you realize headlights are coming right at you because someone is on the wrong side of the road. I have had that happen to me more than once on the local 3 lane highway right out side of the development I live in. Luckily they realized it quickly and turned around before they hit someone. Usually it's people from another part of the world who normally drive on the left side of the road and they just landed here.

Or the people playing with their cell phones instead of paying attention to the road.

This is the main reason my wife and I have dash cams in each of our cars.

We also have to deal with the transplants, I my self was one 25 year ago when it was much less crowded and congested, but we also have to deal with the millions of tourist who visit from not only the United States but from around the world.

Some of the transplants come here from some of the Islands where owning a car is not very common so driving may be something new to them.

My wife and I are looking forward to the day we can move to our rural property in Tennessee.

Yep. The asshole drivers are everywhere here as well. LMPD does absolutely nothing with traffic. Speeding, lane cutting, lane camping, preventing merging, telephones, video screens, spinning contest street takeovers while shooting guns in the air, on and on and on. The third world. The roads are choked with traffic ALL DAY LONG. No one works yet they have money to burn gas in a car with no insurance and expired tags.

Had a less dramatic version of the OP today.
Got off the highway onto the quite busy frontage, had a few cars just stop for no apparent reason in the middle lane.
No panic stop, but hard enough that I had eyes on the mirror for the car behind me.
