So had a first date this afternoon. Late lunch and we hit it off. Spent over 4 hours in the restaurant just talking. She has this North Carolina drawl that she could be reading me the phone book for all I care and I'd listen all day. Made plans for another date on Friday. Walk her out to her car and we hug and kiss and kiss and kiss some more and then it happens.
One of the regular psych patients comes walking across the parking lot. He stops about 10 feet away from us and just stares. My date is like, "Do you now him?" I'm like, "Yes I do and if you give him a minute, he'll get naked."
Yes, this individual has a habit of just getting naked all around town even in sub zero weather. I've had the police bring him in from McDonald's standing in line butt assed naked waiting to place an order. I've worked triage and had him walk into the hospital and stand in line waiting to check in butt assed naked. Never threatening or aggressive, he just likes to be naked.
Right on cue, he just stares at us, drops trou, pulls off his sweatshirt, leaves them there in a pile and continues walking across the parking lot butt assed naked.
Fortunately my date is also a nurse and we both just started laughing. And yes, we're still going out again on Friday.
My daughter can deflate your daughter's soccer ball.
