I traveled to Louisville for a family gathering. Being early, my wife and I stopped at a McDonalds for coffee. I was unobtrusively dressed, with the exception of a Glock 25th anniversary baseball cap. This cap is 11 years old and beat to shit. While waiting for my decaf, an older white gentleman approached, looked at my cap and began ranting anti gun bullshit, attempting to provoke me. I listened to his shit for as long as I could, maybe two minutes, then told him to get the fuck away from me. Apparently he got the message and took off. I did wait and watch thru the windows as I drank my coffee, but there was no further sign of him. I haven't been confronted openly like that for a few years, when and idiot liberal female confronted me over a red and white Sports South hat. She apparently couldn't tell the difference between Sports South and MAGA.

To answer the question, I don't think so. I was well dressed, only wearing the hat because of the sun. The Glock emblem is really small, no larger than a silver dollar. I also had my wife with me, usually a restraining influence on me. I also met a number of people I hadn't met before during the event, and no one appeared repelled by me. I'm about 70 years old, with a fresh haircut, shave, and neatly trimmed mustache. I can't say that I looked like an asshole.
