Bought a new 365xl from Bass pro, paid for it online using my Bass pro card so it would ship to my local store. I picked up the pistol when it arrived, I was reminded of the sig "free magazine promotion". I sent Sig photos of my online order showing it was paid, a copy of my card statement showing the purchase and a photo of the actual box with serial number and the label. I have attempted to submit 4 times, and each time I get a response "this is not a valid receipt". I have 18 different Sig's including 4 LEGIONS IF this is what their customer service has come to, there will not be another one for me. I have bought several Walther's, 2 Colt Pythons, and an Anaconda from Bass Pro with their promotions and no problems at all. this is not the right way to treat customers.

Question is, exactly what does their system require you to send? If they ask for some specific thing, and you sent a bunch of other things, even though they proved your purchase, it will reject them. I remember years ago, SIG did the same thing to many of us. In order to get the free mags, you must peel off the the factory label with the serial number from the box and send it in. People who sent in a copy of the label were rejected.

Btw, this is a free mag promo from SIG, and not Bass Pro, correct? Did you submit your stuff to Bass Pro or to SIG?

Seems like working the problem rather than slamming the manufacturer would be better. Why attempt to harm Sig on this forum without simply calling them?
Sure it is worth $$$$. But simply calling to get sme help would accomplish the mission.

Email was sent to them this past week, and the response was this is not a customer service with your purchase please re submit your form with the promotional link. I am sorry you thought that by making the statement I was "doing them harm" maybe we should just say "oh well" and give in.

If this is what you’ve been submitting, then I’m not surprised the system rejected it. I know it’s asinine (see above what we went through years ago), but it’s their system. You can’t argue with a machine.
Even paid, a photo of your online order is not a receipt. A receipt is the invoice that comes with the gun, when it gets to your hands. It has the SKU and the gun’s serial number. The online order doesn’t. Edited to clarify that it might have the SKU, but it definitely doesn’t have the serial number. The machine/system wants the receipt, not your card statement or photo of the box label. It even has a box where you can manually enter the serial number, in case your receipt doesn’t show one. I just went through their online process just to see what the steps are, and that’s what I saw. Of course, I could go no further, because I didn’t buy a SIG.This message has been edited. I bought a Fuse on Friday afternoon. Submitted a pic of my receipt showing serial number and typed in serial number. I got my ‘received’ email in 5 minutes and I got the approved email today (Sunday). Used the code and ordered three new mags.
I'll have to try again later. I just tried 7 times on 2 different browsers and "file isolation" locks me up, usually at the import the receipt part. Maybe it's not Mac compatible. A real pain, though.

Remember when some guys kinda lost it because a previous mag rebate required you to peel the labels off of the box and that was somehow perceived as affecting the value of the gun?
