Seem's like here lately every time I turn around somebody I know wants to move a mattress. And I am the guy,

Give them the phone number to Home Depots Truck rental line, or U-Haul.... after a few times of "no, but you can rent a truck here" the word will get around you don't own a moving truck.

You must own a truck :-) Trucks are great and I own one but one of the penalties you pay for truck ownership is someone always needing a favor to move something. Once in a while I get asked to help someone move something but not often enough for it to become annoying.
