I notice I'm being blocked from certain websites Login/Join

So I go to certain websites that host pirated foreign anime. These sites worked yesterday. I use the Brave Browser. I tried to get to the websites on Firefox and surprisingly they worked. Or they did work. Now they give the same error that the site doesn't exist. So my question is are there any other types of websites that are being blocked? Is there a list somewhere? What other sites might end up blocked.

Don't hate on me because I like to watch foreign cartoons. Just let me know what's going on if you can. That's as long as I'm not blocked here next.

Edit to add: Now I can't log into Grok using my Google account as it is giving me the same page error as the other sites. So this also seems to include whatcha call legitimate sites.

Clear your cookies and cache. Make sure your Firefox is updated to the latest version. Then try again.

What is the error, exactly?

it may be your ISP messing around.

I cleared cache as the first thing I tried when this started. No go.

When I try to log in to grok.com, the home page loads, I try to log in with google and after it takes those credentials and it tries to authenticate I get this page:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to auth.grokusercontent.com. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

That was in Firefox. When I just tried it in Brave it worked. I am at a loss as to what is going on.

Your computer is set to the correct time, right?
I had errors like that once when my laptop clock battery went and the date/time was in the past.

It could also be your ISP, or incompatibility between your device's software levels and those of the website.
Make sure all are up to date.

Considering it's only happening with one browser, it is unlikely to be the ISP.

Possibility: The website certificate might be expired. Depending on security settings, one browser might check for this, while a different browser bypasses the check.

I don't know what happened but everything seems to have gone back to normal. Between 2 different laptops, each with brave and Firefox installed, it seemed that some pages loaded fine and others didn't but it wasn't consistent between all 4 browsers. I gave up yesterday but now, tonight, everything is fine. I have checked with my anti virus software and have no hits when I scan. I could be crazy but this seemed like someone was out to get me.

(if it occurs again)

If you have a cell phone with "WiFi hotspot", connect your PC to that and see if the issue resolves. If it does, your ISP is the issue.

If you still have the problem, it's with your PC.

I did try that. The problem persisted over both my Spectrum connection and my T-mobile hotspot. But looking back now, I may not have cleared cache in between switching so it could be that Spectrum was giving me the problem.

From what you state, the issue was likely predicated within your PC enviornment.

Some issues with "cache" and/or other variables that resolve over time, result in what you experienced.

(there is a lot that goes on in the "internet world" that is not "obvious" to most people.
The end results appears random.

But is very clear and obvious to those who live in this "world")

I've only ever gone to that site with an ad blocker on. I've been watching Frieren.
