Is there a specific grip tool to remove
E3 Grips on a P220?

If you don't have the correct tool you can use a box end wrench. Stick it up the magwell and twist.
If memory serves me a 9/16” box end works on the single stack. If not just keep stepping up in size till you get the desired spread needed.

I have also just pushed out on one side then inserted a plastic credit card to keep the side separated then push on the other side and do the same then push the grip off.

The tools are nice but many other ways to get the grip off.
