Hmmmm, so is a caliber conversion as simple as a barrel and a magazine? Something tells me it couldn’t be that easy. Breachface?

Basically, yes. I installed my 9mm barrel in a .40 SP2340 and it worked fine. 9mm ammunition will feed from a .40 magazine. Obviously, you cannot shoot 357/40 from a 9mm breechface.
