I'm in need of a screw for a S&W revolver. Near as I can figure it needs to be 6x32 thread , 3/4 " long , with a head no bigger than 3/32 " or 2/10" The one I have is too long and sticks out the other side . These are probably not original grips. Anyone have a source , the ones at Ace are too wide in the head. Thanks

There was a thread like this on another forum and it was suggested they try NC Ordance. Good luck. "Even if the world were perfect it wouldn't be." ... Yogi Berra

I got brave (read foolish) and cut mine to size with a fine toothed hacksaw. Worked out O.K. Thanks for the tip about NC Ordance

This could be it. It is the same length as mine was but I think I'm missing the eschucheon, which made it too long. https://gungrip.com/original-s...sson-grip-screw.aspx

Just saw this topic. I have bought screws from a site before called the Gun Garage. Heres a link to the page for the S&W grip screws. https://gungaragestore.com/han.../small-parts/?page=7 hth

The S&W stock panel (escutcheon) screw has been a #5-44 NF since 1942.
