I recently picked up a new P220 Legion SAO in .45 acp. I have had it to the range several times and like the way it shoots. I am having a very hard time applying the safety. It goes to the fire position with the expected degree of force and is very positive in it's operation. When going to the safe position it is very difficult to reengage, at times requiring the use of a finger under the thumb to reapply. Is anyone aware of this problem and is there a relatively easy fix that I can perform myself, such as looking for a burr or applying grease at a certain location? I could probably send it to SIG but after losing a Glock slide in shipment I'm not a fan of shipping guns if I don't have to... Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this one.

Remove the LH grip panel. Inspect the thumb safety spring. This is a replacement. https://www.midwestgunworks.co...0/safety-spring.html

Thanks, Dan, just saw your response and will order a new spring later today and see if it does the trick for me.
