Have a P245 I picked up few years ago. It has a flatwire blue recoil spring,also came with a bag containing several more of the same spring. I noticed the new springs available are black (stranded?)

Any difference functionally, other than newer version?
Blue functions fine.

My P245 used the same blue flat coil spring. I see no reason to stop using them.
