I spent better than an hour trying to remove the two recessed sight plate screws from the underside of my 365XL slide, this afternoon. This is the first step to mounting a red dot optical. No luck, whatsoever. I understand these to be 5/64 hex heads. Anyone had similar trouble with these tiny headaches frozen in place? Any solutions would be appreciated. My project is at a standstill.

Try some heat as the screws have some loctite on them.
