urbanwarrior238Sig SAS model slide/barrel swap?
I have a 'standard' P365 and I now have a P365 SAS model (anti-snag) with a ported slide and barrel. I would like to put the SAS ported slide and barrel on my 'standard' 365, leaving both FCU in their respective frames.
Any thoughts on this? Safety issues?
Why you ask..the SAS model has a micro millimeter slide catch lever, hard to manipulate and the take down lever requires a screwdriver to manipulate. The ported slide and barrel on my colored standard frame makes it easier for my Gorilla hands to operate.
Thoughts??

12131Swap away. There is no safety issue.
The only differences between the two upper assemblies are the holes, the melt job and the bullseye sight. None of these has any bearing on the fitting on the lower (frame).

Thank you 12131. And, my email to Sig confirmed OK to swap just keep barrel and slide together. I kinda thought would work since all the grip/slide combos being sold and dropping the FCU into all the different grips.
Off to the range...
