I recently found a pair of pacmyer grips for my 226. After adjusting with dremel.Grips fit great. However mags would jam. Put the hoques back on and works as it should. After inspection of the pacmyers every thing looks the same as the hogues. Do not want to do anymore trimming on them. They looked great on pistol. My first thought was screws were too long and jamming mag, but they were flat. Only other thing is the width which looks like mag could be binding. Any good tips? This message has been edited. Fixed my problem. Several things were wrong. 1/ Grip screws were too long, left small marks on mags, installed shorter screw, solved that issue. 2/ Grips at base were a little wide, with the help of Mr. Dremel took a small amount of rubber off, which lined mag up to proper fit and took binding off. Used blue loctite even though screws are tight. Mags work as they should, do not see any other issues with grips. Am happy, they are a great upgrade. Am going to figure out how to post pictures. Still am not great with computers. | |||
