The war begins Mad

Democrats in the House quietly put forward a ban on 80 percent frames and gun parts kits while Americans were focused on voting and watching the outcome of the midterm elections.
The legislation, HR 7115, is sponsored by Rep. Frank Pallone (D-NJ) and has 16 Democrats as co-sponsors.

The states purpose of “the legislation is to prevent the sale, possession, or advertising, of 80 percent receivers, gun parts kits, etc.

The text of HR 7115 says:

To prohibit the sale, acquisition, distribution in commerce, or import into the United States of certain firearm receiver castings or blanks, assault weapon parts kits, and machine gun parts kits and the marketing or advertising of such castings or blanks and kits on any medium of electronic communications, to require homemade firearms to have serial numbers, and for other purposes.

The Firearms Policy Coalition warns that bill is ambiguous and would be far-reaching. For example, they explain that HR 7115 does not “make a distinction between upper and lower receivers” for AR-15s and would make “home gunsmithing” illegal.

Ironically, firearms built from 80 percent lowers are not 3-D firearms, yet the legislation is ubiquitously titled, “3-D Firearms Prohibition Act.”

What is the point of introducing legislation like this? Hope the republicans and president are asleep? Hope they can get some kind of erosion of our gun rights or have more ammo about how the republicans refuse to get behind "common sense gun control"?

They clearly are emboldened by their gains in the House; this should come as a surprise to nobody that understands that the left is our enemy.

On the federal level, probably not..at least for a coup!e years.

But on a state level, you better believe it...just look what passed in WA (1639). They've flipped Vermont.

Dismissing them is not wise. Folks need to VOTE.

Yes, I'm talking federal level, here. On the state level, we've actually been on the losing end for more than a few years, now. The rats finally realized they cannot win on the national level a few years ago. So, they changed strategy and attacked gun owners at state, and they have been succeeding.

Personally, I am sick and tired of these DEMOCRATS! These ASS HOLES just can't help themselves when it comes to anything 2nd amendment, firearms, ammo, magazines, etc. ALL DEMOCRATS really need to go form their own country and leave me and the rest of real, normal, common Americans alone. And when they form their own country, I hope they take all these militant trans, gay, lesbians, environmentalist, ANTIFA, Bernie lovers, Hillary lovers, vegetarians, and very other Pieces of Shit wandering around our great, but declining country. Boy am I discusted with these parasites and sleazy politicians on both sides of the isle. In all my 70 years, it has never been this bad.....and getting worse.

Pay attention folks! The libs are getting sneaky with this. Things are happening at the state level slowly, but surely. A ban on all semi-automatic rifles capable of shooting more than 10 rds. will be on the ballot in Florida 2020. I never thought I'd see the day when Florida (the gunshine state) would be fighting for their 2nd Amendment rights. But, I also never thought I'd see a socialist nearly win the Governor's Mansion.

Yes they are. If you study history as related to genocide, it always starts the same way. Safety first. There's always this specious claim that they are protecting the people, but in fact there is no such constitutional authority. I've said this before, but I'm going to keep repeating it because there is a denial in the so-called pro-2nd community that is going to lead us down a very dark path.
The Founders placed the 2nd in the Bill of Rights to make sure that Article 1, Section 8, Cls. 15&16 could not be changed in any way shape or form.
Militia being defined as every able-bodied man 17-45, with all others as reserve.
Its a sad state of affairs that the supposed pro-2nd community will die on the individual rights theory when the People posses the awesome power of the Lawfully defined Militia that has the authority to stop any infringement cold.

Although I don't believe we will see any outright gun bans nationally any time soon, I don't think we are far away from legislation and eventual signing by the president of what the left is calling
'common sense measures'. These will include another magazine capacity restriction as well as a required background check for all gun transactions.
The latter will effectively be the demise of the hometown gun show as we know it.

As previously stated....state by state. New Jersey might be bringing out their storm troopers.

The New Jersey State Police corresponded with Breitbart News on December 11 and refused to rule out house-to-house enforcement of the state’s “high capacity” magazine ban.

On December 10 Breitbart News reported that New Jersey was hours away from making it a felony to possess a magazine holding more than 10 rounds. The law took effect during the midnight hour of Tuesday, December 11.

Breitbart News contacted New Jersey State Police on Monday to ask how they planned to enforce the newly enacted ban. We asked whether they would enforce it on a traffic-stop basis–checking magazines in firearms when they pulled over drivers for speeding, wreckless driving, etc.–or whether they would enforce it by going to house-to-house to check magazine capacity in the firearms New Jersey residents kept in their homes.

The basis for the question about house-to-house checks is that Americans always fear Second Amendment prohibitions will lead to knocks on their doors.

The NJ State Police refused to rule out house-to-house checks. Rather, they responded: “We do not discuss enforcement strategies.”

Breitbart News also reached out to Gov. Phil Murphy’s (D) press secretary Daniel Bryan about enforcement of the ban. As of the publication of this article Bryan had not ruled out house-to-house enforcement of the ban either.
