Do you have a water feature available for your birds ?

I had a kids baby pool with the sides cut don,
and they loved it.

I found this today.

AZ birds don't need waterers, like any other AZ wildlife, they have adapted and find it somehow, somewhere. We have an abundance of birds here, from the prolific cactus wrens, to Flickers, to Turkey Vultures, to Harris and Redtail hawks, GHO's, to the Say's Phoebe (a prolific and acrobatic bugcatcher), plus the run of the mill sparrows and wrens. And also hummers.

they may not need them ,
but they sure love having them around.

My bird baths in central phoenix and Mesa brought in a dozen kind of birds on a regular basis.

I sure miss Harris hawks. IMO, there's not a more handsome raptor in this country.

Not in AZ but SW Utah, we do have a water feature. We have all kinds of birds from Finches to Turkeys frequenting our little pond.

I heard the Finches need water and their use of the feature bears that out. Roadrunners can be seen by the pond, too, hunting the little frogs!

For the past 16 years the only "water feature" our hummingbirds care about contains 1 part sugar to 3 parts water. Some days it looks like a miniature Battle of Britain outside the kitchen window!

I found the road runners to be delightful to watch ,
then one day I saw one attack a snake,
his ferocity was a little off putting, he was on that snake just stabbing and flailing, shaking and tearing.

I'd hate to see one eating while he was pissed off
