If you've got some time to kill, check THIS out. It's not just STEM but everything else imaginable - films, literature, music, etc. A huge amount of material and very well done.

MIT spends a boatload of time and money on OpenCourseWare, going back almost 20 years. Good stuff.

It's a way to help bright folks who find it inconvenient to swing by Cambridge for the real deal, and is great PR that they hope will encourage folks to apply, as well as an economical way to spread knowledge to folks far and wide.

thanks for the link - I vaguely remember hearing about this program years ago and never followed up on it - going to check out the aero/astro engineering section to see what I'ee forgotten
