I wonder if these idiots will go after match videos as well because they depict people running around with guns. I have a channel on there showing me running around shooting all kinds of paper and steel.

I'm sure I'm making all kinds of people uneasy.

I have not received any emails from them mentioning these policy changes and I haven't logged into my account for awhile so I went and logged in to see if they did anything to my channel. The channel is still active for now and I do not have any notifications form them through their own system.

There is shit on there way worse then the crap they are starting to ban.

In his book Dangerous Milo Yiannopoulos suggested attacking these left-wing, anti-gun media behemoths using class action suits for their active suppression of conservative views.

The premise for going after Youtube as a class action brought by firearms enthusiasts has as its basis three key points:

1. The right to keep and bear arms is an acknowledged CIVIL RIGHT, one explicitly protected by the Second Amendment. This is a key element of the SCOTUS decisions in Heller and McDonald.

2. Youtube's denial of equal, non-discriminatory, uncensored, and unfettered access is interference with the exercise of CIVIL RIGHTS of millions of law-abiding firearms enthusiasts.

3. Multiple courts held that the state can fine and/or force a baker who has religious objections to homosexuality to bake a cake for a gay or lesbian couple. The reasoning is this was unacceptable interference with the couples' civil rights (a right not enumerated in the Constitution). The same then can be the basis for a class action lawsuit to require Youtube to host video content on firearms topics. Here the case is interference with an enumerated individual right, one applied to the states via the 14th amendment.

All we need is a wealthy patron to bankroll this suit, Alan Gura and crew to represent the class members, and a willingness to use scorched earth tactics.

Some gun video posters are creating accounts on Patreon.com so they can get financial support from willing subscribers. Hickok45 is there as is Sootch00 and Justin Opinion.

FPS Russia was entertaining in its own way. I guess I will have to resort to watching the never ending Russian dash cam videos of various accidents.

@GaryBF This isn't about being demonetized though. This is about entire channels being deleted.

I've still got my calendar and contacts in Google's databases, because I used to use Android. Time to get that stuff outta there. I will keep my Google account active, but, henceforth, it will be used for nothing.

I believe I'll block Youtube entirely at my border router.

Isn’t YouTube a privately owned/operated entity?

Does YouTube receive any federal or state (taxpayer) funding?

As to the baker-the courts were wrong-dead wrong-when they ruled against them.

Damn...that sucks ASS! I relied HEAVILY on Gavin at Ultimate Reloader (Gavintoobe) for his excellent tutorials and product evaluation videos. Youtube can eat a bag of penile members.

As noted above, YouTube is owned by Alphabet, which is Google.

Don't think so.

Those statutes forbid discrimination in public accommodations, employment, on a forbidden basis, sex, religion, race, previous condition of servitude (hardly ever see that one anymore!).

The so called Bill of Rights restrains government from abridging, infringing, etc, not private citizens. No one can force the NY times to publish anything, but they cannot deny ads based on a prohibited category, presumably. Para can allow participation here on any basis he wants, for another example; the government can’t make him permit a topic, or a banned bozo, etc.

How can Youtube be forced to carry anything it does not wish to?

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Why is it that the fucking commies are in control of ALL OUR FUCKING MEDIA!!!!!!?????
I have an idea.
How about we all band together and get every single freedom loving asshole out there, gun owner or not, to cease opening youtube on any and all devices forever?
Lets say March 30th is the day we kick it off.

If I subscribe to YouTube Red for the rest of this month, won't that allow me to download as many tutorials as I care to save on a hard drive, for posterity? Then cancel, which I'm sure has a "why are you leaving us" survey? Yanking the financial rug out from underneath a business gets their attention more assuredly than an unpaid subscriber no longer visiting.

That idiot Jake Paul is still on YouTube. He has the answer to school shootings. End gun shows NOW! What a fool. In spite of his inappropriate posting he does not seem to be banned. He sadly is in a postion to influence the preteen crowd.

When I learned Scroogle was buying Youtube, I knew the day was near when it would be destroyed. It was a time bomb with a Jack-in-the-box trigger.

Many users (myself included) have migrated over to https://voat.co/v/gundeals

BE ADVISED: Voat advertises itself as the next "free speech platform" after Reddit started censoring contents a while back; now with any "free speech" platforms, you WILL see people use derogatory terms/display derogatory views, so just be prepared if you do decide to visit that site.

A lot of my favorite video folks have moved to Patreon. I like that I can support them directly and no advertisements. The ads in the middle of longer videos was the last straw for me.
