YouTube bans gun sale, tutorial videos
This includes how to assemble videos as well.

Maybe some entrepreneurs will set up “Ourtube” and fill the demand.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

So simply disassembling a gun in a video is a violation?

What ass suckers

I used You Tube a lot for dissassembly videos. I also enjoyed Hickok 45. I noticed that was his image on Full 30.com.

Will that website host disassembly videos as well?

I am challenged when it comes to such things as 1911 dissassembly and the like.

Yet people can still go onto YouTube and find such helpful videos as “Cold water extraction”

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lESnvL564VQ

Which shows viewers how to quickly separate the fun opioids from the acetaminophen in their Percocet to obtain a better, more intense high and not suffer the liver killing effects of the acetaminophen...

It's not clear, at least to me, what is actually banned. The original post links to an article on "circa.com" and that "article" reports on an article that appears on bloomberg.com. The Bloomberg article says that "YouTube will prohibit videos with instructions on how to assemble firearms." Does this refer to videos that describe how to make your own firearm from parts or to videos that show a guy unboxing a handgun and then showing how it's disassembled and reassembled (ie, most 'review' videos)? The article mentions Spike's Tactical by name, whom I have never heard of. I have no idea what sort of videos they uploaded.

Some of the comments are quite entertaining on the Reddit link, theres tons of folks that are more upset about the prohibitions on sexually based posts than anything else.
