Unapologetic Old School Curmudgeon |
Candy eating procedure question.... I eat Kit Kats like a human should. You snap off a rectangle piece and eat it from the end. My wife just bites across the pieces without breaking them off. This is just barbarism. She will only eat M&Ms one color at a time where as I just grab some and shove em in, regardless of color. She insists this is far more objectionable then her Kit Kat ridiculousness. Don't weep for the stupid, or you will be crying all day

One color at a time is a bit OCD for me. You need to have that as an option, too. ________________________________________ -- Fear is the mind-killer. Why not wedge the M&M's in the cracks of the Kit Kats and then eat them? ---------- “Nobody can ever take your integrity away from you. Only you can give up your integrity.” H. Norman Schwarzkopf

So eating a Kit Kat lengthwise like corn on the cob is not even an option?

Who would eat M&Ms when there are Kit Kats? M&MS are barely even chocolate. Not worth the calories. Unless your talking about the peanut butter M&Ms of course...

The cake is a lie! |
If im planning on eating the whole kitkat, I just open it up, hold it by the wrapper, and eat them while still together

I eat Kit Kats one bar at a time. I eat M&Ms one color at a time. Any other way is wrong. I'm a bit on the OCD side, though. When my wife is eating Peanut M&Ms, she will feed me the green ones only (those are the best, as everybody knows). Fear God and Dread Nought Admiral of the Fleet Sir Jacky Fisher

Peanut M&M's are my candies of choice. My Mother taught me colors with them. She'd hold one, hidden in her hand, if I guessed the color correctly, I got to eat it. If I got the color wrong, my Dad got to eat it. I have OCD issues & have always eaten them 1 color at a time. I figured most people just eat them, but it's nice to know there are other, like-minded people out there. I would eat Kit Kats by breaking the stick off 1st, then eating the stick of it from the end. (If I ate them. Which I don't)

I'm lactose intolerant and thus chocolate and I have a...strained...relationship. Last time I ate a Kit Kat I was ill for the rest of the day. However, in my mind separating out by color only makes sense when there's a flavor benefit, such as with Skittles. Who eats KitKats that way, beyond heathens? Shameful.

We gonna get some oojima in this house! |
Cross cutting a kit kat is ruinous. They should be slightly chilled and broken at the proper locations. As bad as red wine with a delicate fish. She should be given a stern talking to. ----------------------------------------------------------- TCB all the time...

I'm with you man! Who sorts m&ms by color? You just grab a handful and go. "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

I'm sorry to be so blunt but you both are barbarians. That's one of the reasons knives and forks were invented. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Your poll is deficient. It needs "both," "neither," and, for example, "I like ponies." You're both barbarians. Kit Kats should should be eaten one "row" at a time, M&Ms one colour at a time. It's too late to work within the system,,,, but too early to shoot the bastards." -- Claire Wolfe "If we let things terrify us, life will not be worth living." -- Seneca the Younger, Roman Stoic philosopher
