a large number - like 75% agree that the economy is doing better

a very small single digit percentage give President Trump the credit

we should find out who these people are, economically force them back to where they were in November 2016 and see how much credit they want to give Obama

Trump warns China not to wait for 2020 election to make trade deal
BY RACHEL FRAZIN - 07/30/19 08:16 AM EDT

The Hill > https://thehill.com/homenews/a...n-to-make-trade-deal
================================
....
......"In a series of morning tweets on Tuesday [today], Trump said that China could get a "GREAT" deal if a Democrat wins the presidential election. He added, however, that if he wins reelection, the deal offered to China will be "tougher" than the one currently being negotiated. He also warned of the possibility of "no deal at all."

"They should probably wait out our Election to see if we get one of the Democrat stiffs like Sleepy Joe. Then they could make a GREAT deal, like in past 30 years, and continue...to ripoff the USA, even bigger and better than ever before," Trump said.

"The problem with them waiting, however, is that if & when I win, the deal that they get will be much tougher than what we are negotiating now...or no deal at all," he added. "We have all the cards, our past leaders never got it!" ........

I would say this relates. It saddens me that Pres. Trump isn't in the corner of the U.S. Airline Industry to help fight this battle...

https://news.yahoo.com/lot-yel...BHZ0aWQDBHNlYwNzYw--

'A lot of yelling': President Donald Trump had a contentious meeting with airline CEOs, report says

A meeting between President Donald Trump, the CEOs of some of the biggest airlines in the U.S. and Qatar Airways CEO Akbar al Baker devolved into "a lot of yelling," according to a report from NBC News detailing the meeting.

The group met in the Oval Office in what NBC News called an "'Apprentice'-worthy showdown." The outlet reported CEOs of American Airlines and United Airways were in attendance to air some grievances regarding what they believe are unfair practices by airlines in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

Economics is a favorite topic of mine because it sounds so scientific when it’s used to explain past events but not so reliable in projecting outcomes.

Like most conservatives, I was initially perturbed by Trump’s tariffs but i’ve come to understand if not now, when? And if the other side is playing you based on your espoused beliefs then sometimes sacrificing your beliefs in the near term may actually save them for the long term as your opponent realize they can’t use your beliefs to manipulate you.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
