I used to be a huge GWB fan.
Now, all I want for him is to go away.
I am ashamed for him since apparently, he is not ashamed of himself.

Same with his mother. I once thought she was a descent lady. Not at all anymore.

They have proved themselves to be democrats-lite.

Certainly GWB was way better than the alternatives at the time. But as a stand alone?
No thanks.

I think Bush is jealous of President Trump's success and accomplishments. I have seen this many times in life and these types will go to no end to put you down.

The best thing to do is ignore them.

To hear him during the campaign, his interviews recently, and to see him basically hand in hand with the obamas'amd the clintons ia so disgusting & disappointing to me. I'm glad I registered as independent and for the first time ever gave money to (Trump) a campaign.

Don't go away mad Bush, just go away.

Lol I have been in one for about three weeks. It is nice. Last night I read and watched some things that drove me nuts about the Sessions stuff and had to place myself back in the penalty box.

I do not watch ANY news. I don't even open the Fox app and check headlines. I do check in here to get the headlines but that's it. The way I figure it is we won. For the next four years life should be ok. Unless someone attacks us, or we attack them, I don't care. More important things to focus on. It is sooo nice to come home, or wake up, and enjoy a show while I sip my coffee and not fret over the news headlines.

In four years or so when I need to vote I'll pay more attention, but I can already tell you who I'll cast my ballot for.

Life is good. Smile

I consider my votes for both bushes to be the result of the Leftward vortex in the political culture created by the Dems' progressive drive to socialism. I had to vote for both Bushes because The alternatives were far more Left than the squishy Republican candidates. I was young and naïve enough when I voted for Daddy Bush that I believed he would be Reagan's third term. Little did I understand that even Reagan had done likely irreversible damage to the bill of rights and that papa Bush was more squishy than was Reagan on such things. George W was a nose holder and though I was relieved he beat Gore and Kerry, I was uneasy about his claim to conservatism. I stood behind him faithfully and with complete trust after 9/11 only to learn he went into Iraq cavalierly....though I think the right thing will eventually come of it.

Ultimately, we are in a mess because we are lead by men with frailties and unsound principles or at least occasionally compromised principles. There is a reason societies rise and fall. As I grow older and have more experience, I see why my grandfathers both hated politicians and govt. They understood the great damage they do and that they cover for each other in secret combinations that oppress otherwise free people. That Geo. W is in league with the rest of the oligarchs to undermine the outsider should not surprise me. What disappoints me is that I am surprised.

Amen.

He has a book coming out, so he's on tv pimping it, but that doesn't explain or excuse the attacks on Trump. He has joined in on the Uniparty effort, at a fever pitch right now, to have Trump removed from power. It is ridiculous and ultimately futile, but it shows the wide and deep corruption in DC. And the Bushes are key players.

he really is a disgusting piece of shit - but most smart people understand that he is one of the reasons why we voted for Trump.

Trump not being a Republican but the third party candidate we all wanted for the last 16 years.

Yo, George - crawl back under your rock and leave us alone - you had your time and fucked it up. Just go away.

I knew we were in trouble with this clown on April Fools' Day, 2001, a couple of months after his first inauguration, when the Chinese, with impunity, knocked one of our Orions out of the sky in international air space, forced it to land on a Chinese Island, demanded and got "apologies" from Bush for at least three elements of the incident, held the 24 person crew for 10 days before releasing them without their plane, stripped the plane of all sensitive equipment, forced the US to dismantle the plane and fly it out in pieces on a Russian air transport, and then charged the US $35,000 for 11 days of food and lodging for the hostages. That was less than 3 months into his administration. His presidential performance continued downhill from there for the rest of his time in office.

Although I did not agree with much that he did, as Para pointed out earlier he was a huge preference to the alternatives at the time.
At one time I thought you could at least say that he always acted with class.
Unfortunately that is no longer true.

Current events are demonstrating just how "in bed" the elites of the two parties are in DC. Frankly makes me want to vomit.

Through Bush's entire presidency, I didn't understand the Uniparty. Looking back, his presidency makes perfect sense, because he was a part and parcel of the corruption of the Uniparty.

And one other thing I hate to admit: the left said he was stupid-- and, by god, they got that one thing right.

I too voted for him twice and supported most of his actions as POTUS. I also admired him for taking the high road when Obama came to office. But the shit he's pulling now is over the top.

I get it he doesn't like Trump (or Cruz for that matter)and maybe he's pissed because of how Trump completely demolished his little brother during the campaign (Low energy Big Grin) even with the millions ol' Jeb spent. Here's a clue... if you can't support your party, get out and declare as a Dem or just STFU and go back to your paint by numbers hobby.

While some of his actions are admirable, as a whole he was still the President that controlled our nuclear arsenal and couldn't properly pronounce the word nuclear. It was always new-cue-ler. Made me cringe every time he mispronounced it. Gas rose as high as $6 a gallon, he dodged thrown shoes, and couldn't or wouldn't bring us the head of Obama Bin Laden. Yes, I meant to spell it that way. The Bush family should invest in canned beans and call them....

I voted for him twice, he was better than either john fuckin' kerry or algore.

I think he visits the troops only to assuage his guilt about sacrificing them to the house of saud.

GWB needs to shut his yap and stay out of the spotlight.

I know we have a thread going on this and my remarks are redundant, but...

There's one and only one reason why you became President, George, and that's because of your daddy. I am of the opinion that your father is vastly underrated by history thus far. I think he was a fine President. Were it not for your father, you would have been remembered ever so vaguely as the President's kid, and the owner of a baseball team, and that's all.

From the heart. I couldn't be more sincere when I say that I don't ever again want to see you.

That RINO asshole has been dead to me a long time ago. He's only deader now, with all his actions/talks since the last election season. Mad
