So I liked the fit and finish on the Altamonts but wanted something darker. Over on C forum I found out about Deer Hollow who makes excellent reproductions. I chose a set of gen 2 walnut grips. I got exactly what I wanted. They do excellent work! If you notice the gap at the trigger guard that is explained on their web site.
