Years ago, I had a B-west that looked just like this, a kit. The actual rifles don't have badly heat treated receivers.. Or maybe those weren't even treated. Maybe they left them in a hot car?

It is pretty cool, and it has a unique feel. This one takes occasional range trips because somebody popped the cherry and there is no box. It is a well made AK no doubt.
