Which one is uglier? Smile I'm sorry if that offends, but I just don't care for bling pistols like that. They should be black, two-tone, or stainless/hard chrome/nickel. The rainbow variety I've seen around (not pictured here), is hideous, I think.

But besides the color, I complement you on your choices of weapon platform.

Oh no worries, anyone who gets offended by opinions they read on the 'net has bigger issues! Smile Neither is mine, unfortunately LOL - pic taken at a gun store. But I'd take the Plasma Blue in a heartbeat - all black and stainless is boring Wink .

I'm a sucker for blue or green guitars. PRS calls this their whale blue, but it seems slightly darker in person. I lifted the shadows in the shot a little. Plays great and the stock pickups work just fine for me. I was waiting for the daphne blue Nashville deluxe tele to be available but couldn't resist this PRS on sale.

We wanted to take the dogs for a walk/swim at a mountain lake, a little muddy getting there!

Tough times, check the ages of these children:

Tough times indeed. I'd love to know the story behind this family and the causes of death. Certainly life wasn't easy in the West back then, but wow, the Canfields took a hard hit.

I've always enjoyed wandering through old cemetaries, particularly when I lived back east. Many of the places that I visited had Revolutionary War soldiers buried there. Some of the dead from the 1700s lived into their 90s while too many, like here, were young children. The children's deaths you can somewhat understand, but it always amazed me to see people living into their 90s way back then with only the most rudimentary of medical care.

I would guess at least part of the back story would be an epidemic in May, 1888. Three of the family died that month: 1-year-old David on May 3, 9 y.o. Lyman on May 14, and then 7 y.o. Hattie on May 30.

I wanted a new P & S camera that I could carry around in a front pocket to replace my old Nikon. After a lot of research I got a Sony HX90V and I'm impressed with it's abilities.

Here are a couple of shots showing the zoom range. The flower is at 18mm and the dove is at 720mm/30 power. This and my Nikon D5300 will make a great trip combo. Both of these are handheld shots. I've got a mono pod ordered to help with blur at the higher zoom ranges.
