Another shot I didn't take today but did finally process today. More learning about properly using Lightroom. I think it's improving.

I've had one of these on my back proch for about a week! Praying Mantis are so cool!

Unfortunately, the only pics I have taken lately are of my Jeep's valve body....

Rebuilding that was fun....

I like the camouflage ... its like they're invisible!

If you really want something you'll find a way ...
... if you don't you'll find an excuse.

I'm really not a "kid" anymore ... but I haven't grown up yet either Wink

Just a couple portraits of my Dobermans. They were nice enough to actually sit still for a moment to allow this to occur.

The Rosette Nebula is a cloud of gas and dust about 130 light years in diameter, lying approximately 5000 light years from our Solar System in the direction of the constellation of Monoceros. The mass of the nebula is estimated at 10 thousand Solar masses, even though it is just a small part of a much larger region of gas and dust spanning the entire constellation. The Rosette would appear as large as the full Moon if it were visible to the eye, but it is so faint that visual observation is difficult even with telescopes.

Thanks, k5blazer! I've been very happy with these guys. They're a good conversation starter too, and a hell of an alarm system.

Here's what I photographed last night:

Spicy Chinese food over the weekend. They use these sichuan peppercorns that make your mouth go numb. It's like licking a 9-volt battery.
