What did you photograph today?
Picking up a tripod at RRS for a long range shooting class this weekend:

Grips arrived. Ready to surprise my son for his 15th birthday at the end of the month. For those that don't know, it's from the Resident Evil video games.





Not an exact replica but in the style of Chris Redfield. Lots of different things went into this one. My old Brig modified with:
Slide engraving and coating by Middlebranch Machine.
G decoker with right side delete by WAL.
Barrel in CPII by CCR.
NP3 trigger and Optimized Trigger Bar from LTT.
Elite hammer and extended mag release from Beretta.
Grips by Collector Design Works.

I have grips coming from DS Grips as well. Working on another Beretta for those.

They're all feral and skittish, but Salem has begun to strop my ankles and allow a small amount of petting. My usual "outside" cat, "Mollie" is not happy with the newcomers, and doesn't always come for her food when I call her. I worry about that, because she needs to et.

Those are barncles. They grow on everything down here left in the water for longer than maybe a little over two weeks unless you paint it with special paint. This is why all small boats are on lifts. Small is under 50' or so. Fishing down here is just like up north except all the fish have teeth like northern pike.

We're going to try to clean the reel up. I can't believe someone just let it go, but it's not a particularily expensive one either.
