SgtGoldOk, here's my Seamaster chrono. I don't have the fancy new one with the lume in the small hands.

Z06Today I found a 14+ year old photo print (pre-digital era for me) of former timepieces.
It brought back memories of my buy/sell/trade watches days. I started in '69 and quit last year.
The '96 Sea Dweller, SS & 18K Sub, and the Aerospace TI all went in a trade for an 18K Sub.
Later had regrets as the gold sub looked (to me) like an old man's retirement gift from his (very nice) company. Not for me.

Very nice pieces - are you still into watches? What are you wearing now?

Think this one will stay in the fold for a while?

I really think it will. It's been a journey to get here, but in a new watch, this is as close as I could get to my ideal steel bracelet watch.

I got it last Tuesday. It's new. Peeled the plastics off myself! Each one sounded like $150 depreciation!

Leave one of the stickers on and save yourself $150.

ShneaSIG, I am wearing daily my Omega Seamaster 300M Co-Axial Ceramic on a silicone diver strap. It is my only premium watch and I love it. Both the line (Seamaster) and I were announced in 1947.
I also collect '47 firearms.

I saved the plastic film from mine on the off chance it add $.50 to the price should I ever sell it.

jhe888Paul Newman's Paul Newman surfaces. An interesting story about a watch that has long excited great interest in watch circles.
(For those who aren't watch people, a "Paul Newman" is an early Rolex Daytona chronograph with a certain dial. Newman's was well known, as he wore it often and it became a desirable style because of Newman.)
You'll probably need at least a million dollars to be in the running. It could go for more.
