Congrats on your new Longines Stickman! I think this company has really been hitting it out of the park over the last few years and that red bezel/diver/chrono? Fantastic!!!

I sold my Sinn U1 diver after taking a good look at the U2 and deciding the addition of the GMT function was worth the hassle of selling my current piece and finding/buying a U2. Both have "Submarine Steel" and tegimented treatments on the bezel and (depending on the model) sometimes the case as well as the bracelet. Additionally, the U2 is rated for a deeper depth than the U1 (as if that really matters! ). My particular U2 is about ten years old, but you'd never tell as scratches were almost non-existent.

After I bought my U2, I sent it in for a complete service and dressed it up with an "Erika's Original" strap and think they're a perfect match. Since you're clearly considering NATO straps for your Longines, you may want to check out her website. I love their comfort as well as the secure fit they provide.

I was doing a little digging on this Longines, which I have been LOVING and I am shocked how close Longines came with this vintage reproduction. They did change a few things but the changes are pretty minor.

Running my Deep Blue diver this week.

Aquilon, that’s a great looking watch for summertime! The white dial with the orange and blue accents works well together.

Etripper, Deep Blue uses tritium right? That case shape and crown reminds me of the Seiko Samurai but with the upgrade of tritium vials, which as far as I know Seiko has never used. VERY cool watch!

Thanks, Stick! That Deep Blue is one of my favorite divers. This one does have tritium vials for the indices, along with the hour/minute hands. Grabbed it up, during a sale that Deep Blue was offering at the time. I was gonna, also; comment on Aquilon's watch too. Really nice, and it has an understated, sharpness about it, for summer wear. Wearing my black-faced Deep Blue today.

As ridiculous as it sounds I cannot stop looking at this Timex.

For a fun daily beater I find this almost impossible to resist.

My Citizen CZ Hybrid is starting to get a bit slow. Not a lot of analog semi-smart options out there.

My Citizen CZ Hybrid is starting to get a bit slow. Not a lot of analog semi-smart options out there.

It is just digital/analog, it isn’t “smart”. If someone makes a smart watch that looks and functions like an automatic with mechanical/solar power for the reserve they would have my undivided attention.

I've seen a few in crowdsourcing, but none actually on the market.

I really like my CZ, just wish the UI on the watch wasn't so laggy, and the mobile app is, or.soon to be, end of life.

On the opposite end of my watch whimsy is the only quartz watch I own. I wear this one to work most days.

Thanks. I absolutely love the sunburst silver dial. I’d wear it more but that acrylic crystal scuffs if I look at it hard. If it was sapphire that would probablybe my daily wear for my days off.

Thanks. The company that serviced my U2 was "Times Ticking" (https://www.timesticking.com/) and they charged me $1077.00 for "Clean/Overhaul, Mainspring, Balance set up, Re time, reset hands plus Re seal, reluming the hands."

They had the watch from April until about a week ago.
