A revival of the Watch thread
Went to the local watch/jewelery shop to pick up my Tissot they were working on. They are a Breitling, Grand Seiko, Seiko, Tissot, and something else dealer. Other locations of theirs sell Rolex, Omega, etc….. anyway it is customer appreciation week 20-50% off watches and stuff. Except Breitling!!!!! Damn!!!( in my Judge Smails voice in Caddyshack) So look what 50% off…..

Cool Honda Seiko, is it an auto?


Got the SS bracelet yesterday, I could have used a couple extra hands to get it on. Not easy. Anyway, I love it, well built with screws in the links not pins. I may order another for my blue King

The Honda Seiko is an automatic. You know I’m torn on the bracelet/strap thing. On some watches a strap looks outstanding. On certain watches it is mandatory bracelet. Just my opinion.

While I'm not usually a blacked out watch person, I'm a sucker for orange and the contrast on that is great.

Looks like a list price around a grand.

Update:
The city’s building department finally let in the watchmaker and they were able to retrieve all the watches including my Bulova.

Just got it back today. While it’s not a high dollar item (they go for around a hundred dollars)the intrinsic value to me is irreplaceable. Sounds stupid but I can sleep better tonight with it back.

Excluding the crown, it has a case width of 42mm.

I really like that white-faced Presage with the blue hands

Really like that Sam, but the date window & 2-tone bezel make it a hard sell for me. List of around $650 makes it appealing for sure, though.
