CPD SIG, That is a neat watch! The bezel insert is similar to Heuer’s Solunar tide watch. I think I came across that brand or one very close to it when I was researching automatic mechanical watches with the ability to track the tide.
As popular as diver watches are I am surprised that more manufacturers didn’t find a way to incorporate tide tracking.
My new Garmin Instinct 3 Solar has a tide function.

I don’t want to split hairs, but I consider the Garmins and Sunutus more in the “Computer on your wrist” category, much like an Apple Watch. Yeah, there’s a ton of stuff you can do with them, but not a lot of “skill or engineering” like a mechanical watch.
Unlike that Tag, where there’s a complication or markings on the face / Bezel.

Thanks CPD SIG I’m surprised and honored that you guys noticed it had been a while since I posted in my favorite Sigfourm thread.
While I consider my watch collection 99.9% complete Sinn still has a few watches that tempt me mightily. One of those watches even taught me the German word “HANDAUFZUG”. Look at that dial & caseback!!! Gorgeous!!
That doesn’t mean that I am not resisting the urge to scoop up another one of Sinn’s modern art masterpieces.
This baby has a German word on the dial that I had never heard before.
Without the help of the Google can anyone here guess what Handaufzug means?
This is another one from Sinn that is mighty tempting.

Yeah, I know what it means... I had to pay $20 extra to what I thought at the time was a woman. It was still well worth it.

Cheap watch time I've had pretty good luck with Timex at the local Thrift. A couple Expeditions and now a Weekender. Can't beat 7 doll hairs. It was still ticking and I have batteries for it. I switched the green Nato for the RWB. seems to keep good time. It's as loud as my wall clock
