Thanks for the heads up on this watch. I just ordered one for my dad’s birthday. Solar powered so it’s always ready and the cyclops will help him see the date.

Nice Seiko vthoky, I was looking at the PADI last August but went with a SNE585 solar Prospex. I added a Jubilee bracelet (brac-85) from Long Island. Imgur is being stupid so no pic.
I don't know if the brac-85 would fit the PADI (SNE549) as it is very specific and not listed. Probably as Mark.
Seiko showed up yesterday. I was hoping it was a brighter blue like in the ad, nice watch though. I didn't have to take any links out, the adjustment on the band was enough
Not sure where the Swatch is, maybe they had to make it

I picked up 2 more of the Speedy homages. These are by Watchdives. Both have the VK63 Mecaquartz. The GMT is an Explorer II homage with the NH34 GMT movement. It said it was 39mm, but it's 40 For $70 it's pretty good.

If you're goin' through hell, keep on going. Don't slow down. If you're scared don't show it. You might get out before the devil even knows you're there.

Yep, in the comments they supposedly fixed the pic
So, Swatch finally came in, maybe it shipped from Zimbabwe by mule or something
It wasn't around the inner mount, just flopping around
Here it is, yaaaayyy!!!!
Second hand loose. I should have known "Bio Ceramic" means plastic, there is no weight to this thing, feels like a toy. The band was made for Chewbacca, look how long it is on my 9" wrist
It was shipped in a bag, not a box. I'm glad it was broken so we can send it back and never buy another Swatch again

I looked at those Swatches in Las Vegas at their store, sub $100 maybe but no way they are worth more.
See my post in the Lounge in case you have missed it.

A new member of the herd from the British watchmaker Zero West. I like "tool" watch designs, aircraft, and history. This "DB-1 Lancaster" limited (200 pieces) model from Zero West checks all those boxes along with a simple, clean, easy to read and handsome "Flier" design that resembles an altimeter, that I'd probably go for without the other features I so like. The watch commemorates the "I]Dambusters[/I]" raids by the RAF on three heavily defended dams that provided electricity to industries providing the German military with arms during WWII. 17 aircraft left England on the night of May 17th, 1943 and 8 failed to return. Two of the three targeted dams were destroyed that night.
I remember watching the docudrama (a word not yet created) about that dangerous and unique mission which was released in the 1950's. One thing (among many) cool aspects about this watch is that it is constructed with a thin aluminum disc (visible on the back beneath the bomber's silhouette) that was part of one of the aircraft that made it home successfully, but was shot down a few months later during a mission to France. I like the fact that this offering helps keep the memory of these fliers alive and reminds us all that freedom is never "free."

Long Island Watch Company has some very cool and affordable offerings. A few days ago, I saw this on a watch forum I'm a member of. Though I'm not into golf, some family members are and I thought it would be a neat watch for them.
