Pulled out my trusty pocket caliper, it's 22 mm

I haven't posted any watch pics, in a while. Here's my latest acquisition, a Luminox GL 3151

Ha! You're preaching to the choir there.

Those people have sucked more money out of me and the Sig Forum crowd than Sig!

Are you talking about the photos, or the watches? ;-)

Looks like too much weight on the wrist for my taste.

Found an older Seiko I like, but it's apparently a rare-ish discontinued one (a Seiko guy in Tokyo rarely sees any, and they only come through watchuseek every few years).

Figures...

Why is that that most watches are photographed at 10:10? Smile

It's a hand position that usually allows the manufacturer's name and/or logo (usually at 12:00), movement info (usually at 6:00), and date (usually at 3:00) to show best.

I like it, especially with the leather strap.

One caveat: the domed crystals are usually plastic, and scratch easily. I always kept a tube of polyWatch crystal polish handy for touching up that kind.

My Dad bought this back in 79-80, showed up in mailbox on Friday. In another 20 years or so, it will show up in one of my sons mailboxes.

I thought about about having it freshened up but I truly like better with the scratched and wear on the bezel. I still probably send it in for an internal tuneup. It seems the minute hand markers have shifted somewhat.

I have the same watch that I bought in 1986. After replacing the rubber straps couple of times, I bought a Seiko stainless steel diver watch band. Still wear the watch to this date. I have couple of high end watches. But this will be the first one I will be handing over to my son when he goes to high school.
