I can't find any online sellers yet.
Yeah my brother lives in Hong Kong and is in Japan a lot so he gets the good stuff easily. He bought four of them.

agonyGot this one 15 years ago. An older now-discontinued Tissot Le Locle. I'm normally a sports watch kinda guy but I couldn't pass this one up at the time as I was drawn to the simple, classy design.

I cut off the extra strap from this leather 5-ring zulu, which essentially made it a traditional 3 ring single piece strap. Now it buckles on the volar surface of my wrist like a traditional watch band, and the watch only has a single layer of strap underneath it so it sits much lower and more comfortably on the wrist.

JimineerSorry if this has been asked and answered, but do any of you use a watch winder case(?) for your automatic watches? Any recommendations for one that can hold up to 4 watches? Or, would this just be a waste of money and space? It seems most higher end autos have the ability to be manually wound anyway - based on my limited knowledge of fine watches.
I’ve read about half of the pages in this thread and I must say you guys and gals have some really nice watches

jhe888I don't use a watch winder. If an auto runs down, I just wind it, set it, and wear it.
As you say, most autos now allow for hand winding.

rduckworAgony: That Tissot is just gorgeously elegant!

agonyThanks. I do rather like it more than the newer textured-dialed versions. Although I wish it had the two-windowed caseback of the newer version.

agonyAs for watch-winders I don't use them anymore.
Usually my daily watches are rotated enough that they still have enough power on reserve.
Otherwise watches that I rarely wear are wound once a month or so just to get the innards moving.

On the new bracelet. And a tip of the hat to Agony for the inspiration. I think this is a much better bracelet for this watch than the factory choice.

agonyI've been wearing the hell out of the PADI turtle. It just feels great on the wrist.
I've also been wearing this Yao mod Seiko SKX regularly for years. It's probably my favourite watch. I'd like to replace the flat sapphire for a domed, and change the chapter ring to a simple brushed aluminum, and change the bezel insert to something less busy.

ScreamingCockatooOK I got the Accutron bug and pick up this 1972 2181 to restore.
I have movement components on their way now and will do a full teardown and restoration of the movement also.

https://lcbistore.comThey look much better in person than in the photos on the store site. Super crisp and clean numerals and great overall finish.
DLW is another source but many of their designs require swapping the crystal and I don't really want to do that. Om this watch, I actually prefer the flat crystal to something domed.
