Had a great experience last weekend taking a low light shooting class. Looking forward to more of this type of training.

Looks like fun.

We would occasionally have night (more like twilight) IDPA matches for the more experienced shooters. Always fun and always a challenge.

" low light"
It seems is a relative term

My issue with low light shooting is usually there is too much light.

In the OP pic both shooters on the ends are supplying enough light for the other end to shoot without additional lighting. It become more going through the motion of activating the weapon light.

You make a valid point, but based on my experiences running shooters through low light training and having them shoot individually rather than in a close line, dealing with activating the light is a significant challenge at first and worth the training for that reason alone. I require reloads with the light turned off and just going from light on, light off, light back on is not that easy.

Has your training included engaging targets using night sights only? That’s something else that usually takes some practice.

“ Enlightenment is man’s emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one’s own understanding without another’s guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one’s own mind without another’s guidance.”

Not yet, but that's coming. Had another class last night in the cold (fortunately no ice on the ground otherwise it would have been cancelled).
