Ran down to the 200yd range early this morning to dial in two rifles that have new glass on them. I shot both at 100 a few weeks ago to get on paper, but wanted to verify and fine tune at 200 before going ay further. The AR is an M4 type, 14.5 with a p&w comp in a complete BCM topend. I put a new ACOG TA31 with the Aurora reticle on it and couldn't be happier with the addition. Shooting nice tight little groups at 200 with M855 green tip, can't wait to see how the 77 SMK's do. The other rifle is my old 1964 Marlin 336 in .35 Rem. I replaced the old Weaver with a 2-7 Leupold and lower mounts. The Leverevolution 200FTX give great groups. Obviously quite a difference running the rifles side by side.... speed of shots, recovery time, etc. Lot of fun doing old and new together. Post up your old and new rifles that you enjoy. | ||
