Who are you using to host pics to post on site? I have used photobucket forever but now they want to charge. I signed up with tinypic and loaded 2 photos but as soon as they loaded it says pic has been moved or deleted.
I have an imaginary friend (internet buddy) who builds and hosts websites for a living. I registered adomain name with GoDaddy (I think that's the right terminology) and get server space from him for my two websites. I have essentially unlimited space, tho if I got greedy at some point he'd have to charge me more for the extra server space. I'd have to check my records to see what the actual cost is, but IIRC it's around $100 per year.
There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch. If you use a "free" picture hosting site, you're gonna pay for it one way or another: Restrictions, banner ads, bandwidth limitations, piss-poor service...
Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

Me, too. Of course, doing so does not cost me anything more because I'm already a paid subscriber to Flickr®--they are the host of my 41,000 photographs stored on-line. The $50/year fee is more than worth it to me for that service, AND it allows me to post to various fora. They do impose some rules but they are easy to obey and not a problem for me.
