Hi Sig people, I’m squeaky new to SigForum. While I’ve only been shooting for a little over two years, I’ve come to love it as a sport and my hobby. I spend more on ammo that I do on house payments. My first gun is a S&W M&P 2.0 compact. After about six months, I purchased a Sigg P365, which is one of the most accurate guns that I own. Around that time I also bought a Taurus TX22 for my 81-year-old brother to shoot. He didn’t like the recoil and the noise from the 9mm pistols. Two months ago I bought an Sig P320X-VTAC. All of my pistols carry red dot optics because my 75 year old eyes can acquire the target much faster with it. Along the way in between the pistols, I purchased a few long guns. My first (actually my second, but that’s a story for another day) is a Springfield Saint AR-15. Next, I bought a Tippman M4,22 cal. Once again, that was for my 81-year-old brother, who wasn’t comfortable with the AR-15. Now I’m sad to report that after fewer than a dozen visits to the ranges, he no longer wants to shoot. My last rifle purchase is a Faxon Bantam, 9mm carbine. It’s probably the most fun to shoot of any of my guns. I’ve been a member going on three years, at the indoor range where I shoot at least once every week. They offer a lot of classes and I take them all, some several times. It’s great practice and to have two or three instructors watching to keep any bad habits from creeping in is worth every penny. Last April I took the opportunity for a three day rifle and pistol course in Phoenix, AZ by Carry Trainer. It was a tremendous experience that I hope to repeat someday. I’m here to learn from those with more experience than I have, and to share what I can with anyone willing to listen. {{ Go Bucks }}
